Hotel Care The Next Step for On Call, Hotel, Event and Temporary First time families need to fill out both, an application and Temporary/On Call agreementSubmit a request. Please submit your request by calling our office at . E-mail and phone requests are received Monday thru Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm during office hours (except for major holidays). Feel free to request Hotel care outside of office hours by calling The Mom Connection at 530.685.2800, Voicemail is checked often for after hour requests. Early requests are appreciated. The Mom Connection uses its best efforts to honor last minute requests. The Mom Connection will contact you with a 24 hour period of your request to inform you of receipt of your information. Please contact us immediately if you have not received a telephone contact from a placement coordinator with in a 24 hour period. We arrange for your nanny. After matching your needs with available nannies, we confirm the placement by phone or email. Expect a call from the nanny to confirm and receive necessary directions. Once the Nannies name and telephone information has been forwarded to you agency fees will apply. On Call Care
Every Nanny placed with The Mom Connection has a complete and thorough background check. Each Nanny whether Permanent or On Call adheres to the same standards. On Call Nannies are paid by the hour at a rate negotiated prior to the Sitter's arrival. There is a 4 hour minimum and agency fees apply.
On Call Nannies are
paid at the end of their shift and are paid in cash. Please make sure you have enough cash on hand enabling you to pay the nanny when you return. Some parents will add a "tip" to the regular hourly pay. This is your choice, and not mandatory. On Call services are used when you are in need of occassional childcare in your home or hotel room.
Our nannies are experienced, engaging, professional caregivers who provide in-home, hotel and event care for children on an irregular, as-needed or part-time basis, including sick and emergency care. These high caliber nannies in the Greater Sacramento area are available to ensure 
the highest level of care for your children. Although their duties are restricted solely to childcare and related tasks, Permanent care nannies may agree to more responsibilities. Our nannies provide a creative, fun experience for your children through reading, art, music and creative play.

Tell us about your family. First time users of our service complete an introductory intake with an agency placement coordinator to make sure we thoroughly understand your situation. We'll need about 10 -15 minutes of your time over the phone. It's helpful to be prepared with the following information:
Set your schedule. Childcare requests require a lot of administrative effort. The earlier you can plan the better. You may call or email us. Here is what we will want to know:
Guidelines to plan ahead. Book one week in advance to ensure service, but special situations can usually be accommodated. To be assured of Saturday night service, we suggest calling no later than Wednesday. For more assignments that require a block of one nanny's time, we require a longer advance notice.
PLEASE NOTE:
*Hotel, Event & One time care Fees differ from Year Round On call. Hotel, Event & One time care is a one time occasion and is not required to pay the $125.00 year round fee. Daily agency fees will apply. However, On call care within your home and service used several times throughout the year is required to pay TMC member agency fee of $125.00. With any Permanent placement, On Call service is added as a Thank You for choosing our agency!
*With Year Round On call service you will need to submit a Family Application and an agreement along with a non-refundable agency fee of $125.00 for the year. This fee is only required if you plan to use our service throughout the year. Many families take advantage of On Call service when families regular childcare is not available, school vacation days, date nights etc.
