It also allows us to get to know your family and share our services and fees with you. We will counsel you on nanny qualifications, job description, nanny compensation and much much more! In fact, your personal Placement Coordinator will take you through every step of the nanny search process...from beginning to end. Whether it is Temporary or Permanent, we are here for you!
We work closely with all of our nannies to set very high standards because our reputation depends on the reliability and trustworthiness of every nanny we refer. Every nanny we select has worked a minimum of two years in childcare. All have undergone a background screening, fingerprinting and have completed classes in infant CPR and First Aid. We only refer those nannies who qualify and meet our stringent selection criteria and are Trustlined. Nannies who qualify to be in our registry are at the top of their profession.

Complete and submit our FAMILY APPLICATION This form gives us the basics about your family and what you're looking for. On receipt of your Family Application we will contact you by email or telephone to confirm that we have received all the relevant information. We then look through our database of candidates and contact you with a profile of nannies that are suitable, detailing their experience, qualifications, hobbies and interests along with details on references from previous employment's.
Schedule an initial consultation with our staff. We'd like to spend about 15 - 30 minutes on the phone with you for a detailed discussion of your needs. We'll answer all your questions and create a plan for moving forward with your search.
Submit your referral agreement with an application fee of $125.00(non refundable)
The referral agreement outlines the agency fees and replacement guarantee. It must be on file with the agency prior to scheduling interviews. Please review it carefully and ask us any questions you might have. The application fee of $125.00 is due immediately and will be applied to the total referral fee placement. The $125.00 is non refundable.
Selection of candidates. We'll review applicants and select only those that come closest to meeting your needs. We will email you pdf files on each candidate, with information on their employment history, education and references. You can review them at your convenience and select those you'd like to meet. Of course, we're available to answer all your questions about individual candidates.
Schedule interviews. We'll set them up for you so that you don't have to spend time playing phone tag and giving directions. Just let us know when you're available. We'll be in touch to follow up on all your interviews.
Final Selection. Once you're considering one or two candidates, we strongly encourage you to make reference check calls. We'll provide you with the necessary contact follow up on interviews/revise search. We also strongly recommend second interviews to give yourself and your first choice candidates the opportunity to spend a little more time getting to know one another. When you're ready to make an offer, we can help finalize the details and put everything in writing. We have additional materials and tax information available to help you throughout your search and as you move forward with your growing relationship with your nanny.
Referral Fee is due. Once a desicion has been reached and a position is offered to one of our nannies, the full remaining Referral fee is due. This fee is due before your nannies start date. Full time permanent is $725.00, Part time permanent is $525.00 and Live In is $925.00. We have a non refundable $125.00 policy. Please send check or money order to: The Mom Connection P.O. Stay in touch. We consider a permanent placement the beginning of a relationship with your family. We are always available to talk things over or help address any questions and concerns. And if you need a substitute nanny or just a night out, give us a call for a temp - an annual membership to our temporary service is complimentary with your permanent placement.
Our Guarantee
We offer a 60 day guarantee. If for any reason the nanny is terminated or resigns the position within 60 days of the start date, the Agency will use reasonable efforts to secure one replacement Candidate. If termination occurs during the first 30 days, we will either refund our fee minus $125.00 which is non refundable or replace the nanny at no additional charge. No refunds will be made for any reason after the 30th day. If termination occurs after the 30th day but before the 60th, we will replace the candidate at no additional charge.
